Cryosurgery
We are excited to offer cryosurgery to our practice. Simply, it is applying local extreme cold to destroy a host of common skin conditions.
If any lesion(s) are black, have irregular borders, bleeding, blistering, stinging, itching, or crusting up and peeling, you will need to see a dermatologist for diagnosis before a treatment can be performed.
Common Warts
These are rough, thick, skin-colored, pink or white bumps most often occurring on your fingers or hands and sometimes the face, caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV). They are contagious by touch.


Plantar Warts
These are hard, grainy growths that appear on the feet that can be painful, caused by HPV. They are contagious by touch.


Keratoses-Actinic or Solar Keratoses
These are small, flat, or slightly raised, and usually appear on sun-exposed areas.

Seborrheic Keratoses
These are also known as senile keratoses or liver spots, often clustered in groups
These are very common signs of skin aging. They are harmless and not contagious. It is flat or slightly raised and scaly appearing and can get quite large.


Lentigo
These are pigmented lesions that are small, flat dark areas of the skin caused by overactive pigment.

Skin Tags
These are common skin growths in which a short, narrow stalk sticks out.
Molluscum Contagiosum
These are raised, round, firm, painless bumps with a dimple in the center. It is usually seen in children. It is contagious and is caused by the pox virus family.
